485 stage itself is called 'adjustment of status'. so using EAD or AP , takes u out of nonimmigrant status, and brings u into a intermediate status - thats why they write AOS/parolee on i94 if u use AP. . i dont think u become an "immigrant" untill ur 485/gc is approved.

It seems I spoke too soon about having that bold problem tucked away. It does work like I mentioned. However if upon opening the window i first click the bold button then click in the textbox, the bold button will return to its unClicked state. It is only if i first click the bold button and begin typing without clicking in the textbox before typing that it retains its isChecked state and the text is bold.
(This is how it is working after adding the MainRichTextBox.Focus to the cs file.)

I dont know about you but I certainly don't enjoy the daily grind of "When will I get GC?", BTW Raghunathrao was one of the bravest Maratha warriors of his time, albeit misguided :(

Not entirely accurate. H visas have dual intent. You can tell them you will go on H1 and eventually get a GC and citizenship and the consulate cant do a thing. But if you are going for a tourist visa, then they will deny it. (But dont go and actually try saying something like that... you never know)
Secondly, in the past filing LC was not proof of Immigration intent. It was I-140. I dont know what it is with PERM. But look at it this way, the first GC related document that reaches USCIS with your signature and name is the actual proof of intent. I wonder if that is still your I-140 application.

Manpreet Bawa can do advertising for "Life Insurance" and Hebbar77 can do for his coaching classes and show the anti immigrant attitude to divert everyone.

BUT, please stop sympathising with these "Company A" and "Company B" types "consultants". These are nothing more than vampires who have created a huge mess for genuine EB applicants and are in a large part responsible for the mess that EB I/C finds itself in, today.
Why are these companies so scared if they are following the law?
The reason is because they are fraudsters, and have brought it upon themselves. I hope USCIS finds each and every one of these companies who have flooded the US market with EB-2 and EB-3 applicants, based on FAKE credentials. They need to be found, charged under applicable law, their assests seized and the owners of these companies put in the slammer.
I have worked with contract houses who have long standing reputation in the market and will under no circumstances entertain or employ anybody who expects them to file any kind of visa or immigrant petition, unless their credentials are solid and they can pass an extensive background check.. Those companies have nothing to fear about.

Thanks again Kirupa. I went back over the above post and it helped me answere some of the questions I had, but I do have one more if you don't mind. I have this little project almost wrapped up now. When complete the app will do the following:
-Imports Metadata.xml file generated by Deep Zoom Composer
-On import it will populate the databound image and text boxes with the original data
-On import it will also add four new "tag" elements to the original xml file
-The user will be able to navigate all of the original images and coresponding tags (your MIX08 presentation helped me create the navigation piece ((thanks!))
-The user can add new "tag" data to any of the old and new fields and the new data will overwrite the original xml file when the "save" button is clicked.
I have everything working great. Now I just need to figure out how to take my new "tag" elements and add them into all of the nodes on import. I know how to do this to one node, but I am not sure how to add the new elements to every "Image" node in the file. Here is the code I am using to make this work for the first node:

It appears TSC (Texas Service Center) started using new system CHAMPS, which is not connected to the online case status system.
Any one saw either SOFT / HARD LUDs on their cases pending in TSC in last two / three months?

I got RFE on my case my case is NSC-CSC-NSC Transfer. Got Soft LUD in last 2 days and got RFE mail yesterday night. Waiting to hear back from lawyer about type of RFE. But atleast seems like they had started working on my case and if no RFE it would have been approved.

Lets not get over board with excitment. Over doing it might be considered as harassment. Besides we have achieved the main goal of the campaign. Lets focus our resources to the rally. I think media attention thru flower campaign, rally and lawsuit are excellent strategies in increasing order of intensity to push for our cause. Admin2 - thank u much for your motivation. I do understand IV is doing great work but if you can shed some light on whats going on behind the scenes, it you really help me decide on many things. One of the thing, my lawyer is recommending is to initiate porting to EB-2 which I understand may take anywhere around 18 mnths if all goes well...
If they can be shared with everyone, I am sure they would. But, if I were you and have an option to port to EB2, I 'd probably do that.
If porting going to cost you,you may want to wait till Jan , which is only 3 months away.
