Hi,
I am from the Philadelphia region. I should be able to apply for my I-140 in a week or so. Does anyone know approximately how long it would take me if I applied the NON-Premium way?

Nebrasaka takes anywhere between 3 to 8 months. Texas takes anywhere from 12 days (in my case) to 2 months.
Texas is much faster.

As per the document:

Grand total of EB2 pending: 33850
So, technically all the EB2 applicants should get their GC during the fiscal year of 2011. Even in the situation where no fall down from EB1.
Seems like good news for many and hopefully foir EB3s as well if further fall down of visas occur.
Guess, USCIS should wake up and move the dates faster instead of jungling during last quarter of the fiscal year.
i guess it doesn't count ppl who are waiting. The no of ppl who are not able to file 485 is huge.

Hello,
I had taken advantage of concurrent filing. I have I-140 approved and I-485 pending for more than 180 days. I already have my EAD.
Rumours are that my company is in the process of layoffs. Can anyone enlighten me on my options?
1. Can the employer revoke my I-140?
2. If so, will I loose my PD and have to restart my GC process?
3. Do I have to invoke AC21 immediately?
4. What options do I have to keep my current file alive?
5. Any situation I need to be aware at this point?

Maybe you can give me my answer. I imported a file from Swift 3D, published, F12 to view, and then went control enter to view the size. After almost choking when I saw the size it added to my SWF (255K for a 7 letter word, spinning) I decided immediatley that was intolerable to my movie size requirements, and deleted the entire Swift 3D animation from my Movie. Took it out of the frames, the library, every place imaginable. And I was floored to find what it did to my Fla. It ruined it. My Fla went from 605K to 8.9 MEG. For all the various purposes of how I use an Fla, it is ruined. The ghost of that Swift 3D stays with my Fla even today. Like a cancer, cannot get rid of it. Can you tell me how to get it out so I can restore my Fla?

I am in a very peculiar situation. I have been exploited twice by my previous employers who applied for my green card but ddid not let me know what the situatuion is. here is my situation
company A applied for my green card on Nov 1 2004. Labor got approved in Feb 2006. Applied for my I-140 in Feb 2006.
Changed company to Company B in May 2006.
Company B applied for labor in May 2006. I-140 from company A got approved in July 2006. (please note that this is I-140 from company A). The Labor for Company B got approved in october 2006. I-140 with company B applied in Nov 2006.
Changed company to Company C in Jan 2007.
Company C applied for labor in May 2007. Labor approved in May and I-140 applied in May 2007 itself. Now ironically I-140 for company B and Company C got approved on the same day.
I was totally amazed with 3 green card applications and did not know what to do and what my priority date was and so called USCIS and got transferred to the second level. From the conversation it looked like my labor priority is coming from Nov 2004 from my first application. Is this possible. Is there anyway that the USCIS people are trying to help me. The guy was literally telling me Nov 2004 was my priority date. Now should I be thrilled about it or is it just me and this is another stroke of their stupidity answering.
Can some gurus tell me how I can find my priority date. Please help me. I really want to know what my priority date is and wjhat my application category is . How can I find this information.

Assuming that one has file for the I-485 - just wanted to clarify that EAD/AP can be filed even if the priority dates are not current. In other words, EAD/AP has no dependency on the priority date being current.

I have taken a screenshot. There are too many errors in this ad, there are chances that this might be posted from Dubai by someone on craigslist. I doubt US based recruiter would use this language, they very well know what can happen to them.

My employer applied for LCA to extend my H1 and it was denied and they told me that prevailing wage determination with NPWHC is required to apply for LCA since jan 2010. Is this true?

pretty common issue...the lawyer needs to send docs like tax returns with the FEIN on it and they will update their system. Generally happens to new, small employers. No reason to worry.
