It's hard to answer without seeing the actual NOIR. However, CIS could have made a mistake, which happens sometimes. Whatever the response, make sure that it is filed before the NOIR deadline. Good luck.

2) If so when do I have to leave company A or is there any way I can continue with Company A and get my GC processed through company B.

Hello All,
When I was doing my education (MS) my credit dropped drastically and recently like 2 years back it went for collections too. However I cleared all my credit card debts but it still shows on the credit report that as severe deliquencies and number of open accounts.
Next month I'm applying for AOS - I want to know whether bad credit will have any affect of the approval or denial of the application? :mad:
Any suggestion is appreciated.

Was it first h1 renewal (meaning 3rd year) or second h1 renewal (meaning 7th year).
Did you do anything extra to avoid PIMS delay (like when you renewed your h1) did your employer keep another copy with a notice saying send to Kentucky CC
How long was the gap between h1 renewal received and you going for stamping?
It was first H1b ext. Company did not send second copy to Kentucky CC . On roadside window where VFS does preliminary check , vfs person put PIMS forbid in DS 156. Dont know what does it mean. also h1b renewal was in nov 2008 and I went for .stamping in feb 2009.
One more thing VFS mumbai told me that they will not allow even US born child ( even new born ) if they are not applicant. Only applicant child ( those who are for h4 ) allowed inside. at delhi situation was totally different.

The upside-down "V" shaped branches in the upper left corner are distracting, but could probably be cloned out with a bit of work in PS. The bright leaves in the upper right corner are also distracting, but a bit of burning in could probably make them stand out less. The water is blown out down at the bottom, but that's easy to excuse if you're using a P&S where you don't have much control over the exposure - or even a way to reliably gauge it until the image is on your computer monitor. Overall, the image has potential, and it shouldn't be too hard to fix most of the little issues I see with a bit of time in Photoshop. :)

A quick question for all you experts out there
My wife is on H4 right now and I am on H1, though we got our EAD last year, but I am still using my H1 and not used my EAD yet, So is it possible to apply for Social Security for my wife, will applying for Social Security Number, considered as using EAD and H1 becomes void.
Use of EAD to get SSN is OK. Don't use EAD for work.

Dallas-Fort Worth Immigration Lawyer Has Just Posted the Following:
Nearly 300 illegal immigrants with criminal convictions were arrested last week in Texas, the Dallas Morning News (http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcontent/dws/news/texassouthwest/stories/022510dnmeticeraids.1572cfa1e.html) reports. The largest number of arrests, 119, were in North Texas. According to the article:
Of the total, about half of the immigrants had convictions for violent crimes or drug offenses. Most of the crimes were committed in the United States, authorities said.
The arrests, though, raises questions about why the immigrants hadn’t been deported earlier, immediately after they'd served their time for criminal convictions.
A new program, called Secure Communities, seeks to link jail staff with federal data banks to ensure that those with criminal convictions are removed from the country. There are only 110 jail locations in the country that now use the program.
Secure Communities has come under scrutiny for the relatively low number of persons caught who have been convicted of violent crimes – or what’s known in ICE as a "level one" offense.
Carrollton, Farmers Branch, Irving, Mesquite and Dallas and Denton counties are among the jurisdictions using Secure Communities processes. The program began in November 2008.

My 140 got approved and 485 is in pending state.I have my EAD and also valid H1.
1.Can I add my spouse to my GC status when PD is not current?My spouse is on H1B visa.
2.If I start using EAD, is it still possible to add spouse or I should maintain valid H1 status?

Hi,
I will be sponsoring US visitor's visa for my parents. They will be going to Kolkata consulate for visa interview. I believe my parents need to carry my Birth Certificate along with other documents for the interview. Do they need to carry my original birth certificate or copy of my birth certifcate is fine.

Hi folks, i am in urgent situation and need your advice.
My 6-year H1B expires by end of April 2011 and I am quitting my job by the end of March and changing my status to H4. My I-140 has been approved, I-485 not submitted. Now I only have 1 month left in the 6-year H1B period and am in H4 after March, can I find a new employer to apply for H1B for me, using the 1 month? If yes, can the new employer apply for a 3-year H1B visa?
any comments/advices would be appreciated.

Are you sure that if the employer is not revoking 140, (but they will cancel h1b ) i can join some other employer after receiving EAD.
Canceling h1b doesn't affect I-485.I am not sure about I-140 part.
